Support Center for the Integration of Foreigners in the Ústecký Region
The Support Center for the Integration of Foreigners in the Ústecký Region“ stems from Czech government directives laid out in the document entitled „Conception of Foreign Integration.“ These directives define the main goals of societal integration and is funded by the European Fund. The goals of the Support Center for the Integration of Foreigners include:
- Creating conceptual and long-term integration policies within the Ústecký region as well as sustaining communication with other regions.
- Minimizing the existence of closed-off immigrant communities.
- Eliminating the social isolation and social exclusion of foreigners.
- Involving foreigners within Czech society and fostering coexistence with the majority culture.
